Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Celtic, Rangers, Hearts and Motherwell's pre-season trips as Premiership sides confirm friendly dates

The summer has not long started but it won't be long until Scotland's Premiership sides are coming back together for preseason.

Rangers have confirmed that they will be heading to Portugal as they gear up for the 2022/23 campaign with city rivals Celtic travelling to Austria.

There are some exciting friendly ties confirmed already with Ange Postecoglou's side welcoming Blackburn Rovers and Norwich City and Tottenham the guests on the other side of Glasgow as Rangers battle it out with the London side at Ibrox.

Robbie Neilson's Hearts side also have a busy preseason ahead of them with a week long Spanish training camp awaiting as well as friendly clashes at home and away.
