Perth pressure group has called on Perth and Kinross Council to halt plans to build the £118m Cross Tay Link Road with claims it will “stimulate, not reduce” traffic.

Perth Area Living Streets (PALS), the local branch of the national walking and cycling charity, Living Streets, have proposed a pause and review of the major project, as they state “congestion will also continue closer to the centre of Perth ”.
