Call of Duty: Vanguard patch gives some much-needed balance to weapons

Like many first-person shooters at launch, Call of Duty: Vanguard has been struggling a bit with how its weapons operate. Many players have been complaining that the 'bloom' effect when firing guns in the WWII game has made consistent shooting difficult.

A bloom refers to when a weapon's spread becomes randomised when using aim down sight, negatively impacting accuracy - this is especially frustrating for LMG and burst-fire weapons where good accuracy is crucial.

Bloom is also frustrating for players who are serious about their aim and practice controlling recoil to get perfect accuracy.
