Cairnryan ferry traffic alert as £25,000 overnight drainage works planned for A77 in Girvan

Ferry traffic looks set to be impacted by a £25,000 drainage investigation project on the A77 in Girvan.The works will be carried out between Vicarton Street and Henrietta Street in the South Ayrshire town.Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the network management contract for the south-west trunk road unit, have scheduled them to run from Monday, August 8 to Wednesday, August 17.Maintenance teams will work overnight between the hours of 8pm and 6am.
