Cadbury to launch new range of vegan chocolate bars

dailyrecord.co.ukCadbury has announced its first ever range of vegan chocolate bars - and Scots will be able to get their hands on them from as early as next month.
The chocolate giant will release the Cadbury Plant Bar bars in Sainsbury’s stores in November before they are rolled out elsewhere from January 2022.
Treats will come in two flavours - ‘Smooth Chocolate ’ and ‘Smooth Chocolate with Salted Caramel Pieces’ Bosses at Cadbury spent two years developing the bars, which are made with a blend of cocoa, almond paste and rice extract to emulate the smooth texture of the real deal.
A survey recently found that almost a quarter of vegans said that they missed the taste of a Cadbury Dairy Milk compared to other high street chocolates, the Mirror reports.
