BT Sport host Darrell Currie has slammed SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster for his criticism of the network's coverage of Scottish football.
Scottish Premiership broadcasting rights are switching exclusively to Sky Sports next season in a deal brokered by Doncaster to the tune of £160m.
But Currie, the host for BT's Scottish games, has hit back at the Englishman for claiming broadcasters “haven’t given Scottish football the love they show other leagues”.The presenter said on Twitter: "Totally disrespectful from Doncaster here."To suggest BT Sport haven’t given the SPFL the "love they show other leagues"."Absolutely pathetic - we’ve given everything to our coverage.
