Bret Michaels is "working on being back" after he was hospitalized and forced to cancel a Nashville concert at the very last second. "I was truly fired up to get on stage in the music city and perform, but due to an unknown complication & following hospitalization, it was not possible," he tweeted on Friday, July 1. "I send my deepest apologies for being unable to rock the stage tonight!!
I'm working on being back 100% very soon & hope you rocked hard with my friends Motley [Crüe]/[Def] Leppard/Joan [Jett & The Blackhearts] and Classless Act!!!"Bret and Poison were set to perform on Thursday night, but the singer quickly fell ill just before set time, TMZ reported.
The band members told the crowd that they would not be performing, claiming the "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" singer had a bad reaction to medication and was being taken to the hospital.
