A Scots schoolboy whose rare genetic condition leaves him in daily agony plans to raise cash for Glasgow Children's hospital by riding his bike.

Five-year-old Brodie Robertson suffers from progressive osseous heteroplasia, which causes fat and muscle to turn into bone.

The Paisley boy is one in less than 100 people worldwide to suffer from the rare condition. Brodie had been left upset watching boys and girls in his street playing on their bikes before lockdown.

The youngster has lost movement in his right arm and is unable to ride a bike. But just before lockdown he received a specially-made bike that allowed him to cycle just like his friends.
