Bono has special message for kids as RTE’s Home School Hub ends

After 58 hours of lessons and 560,000 streams it’s time to wave goodbye to the RTE Home School Hub and U2’s Bono has a very special message.Parents and kids across the country have been tuning in to learn from Múinteoir Cliona and teacher Ray Cuddihy over the last three months.‘It’s been a privilege for all of us involved in Home School Hub to give busy parents a bit of a break and to keep our children’s minds active and to introduce them to a new set of pals at a time when they couldn’t be with their own,’ Suzanne Kelly, Head of Children’s and Young People’s Content for RTÉ, said.And those tuning in to the big graduation today were treated to some wise words from Bono, who said: ‘there will always be people who tell you you’re not smart.
