Amazon warehouse has been locked down after a ‘suspicious package’ was discovered. Emergency services were called to the scene in Dunfermline, Fife, at around 3.25pm on Sunday.

Roads leading into the depot have been closed off by uniformed officers in marked police vehicles while fire engines and ambulances have also been dispatched.

Police Scotland confirmed they had been called to the site and said that a bomb disposal team had been called.A force spokesperson said: “Around 3.25pm on Sunday, 27 September, 2020, police received a report of a suspicious package found within the Amazon depot in Dunfermline.“Emergency services are in attendance and a cordon has been put in place.
