Strictly Come Dancing star Saffron Barker has revealed she was taken to hospital on a stretcher following a skiing accident during her latest trip to France.

The YouTuber, 23, has been holidaying in Tignes with her brother Jed Barker and his girlfriend Imogen Cribb. While the group have been enjoying their time on the slopes, things took a turn for the worst during one of their skiing excursions.

Saffron was involved in an incident which saw her sustain an undisclosed injury and she was taken off the mountainside on a stretcher by staff, before then being rushed to hospital to be seen by medics.

Sharing a clip of the moment with Natasha Bedingfield's track Unwritten playing, Saffron joked: "Well this isnt how i planned to use this sound storytime is needed.. #skifails." Her followers flocked to wish her well, with Talia Storm writing: "Noooo saff!!!
