BBC Strictly’s Dianne Buswell’s co-stars rally around as dad begins chemotherapy
ok.co.ukDianne Buswell has shared an update on her dad's health, revealing he has undergone his first round of chemotherapy in Australia.The Strictly Come Dancing pro, 34, let her fans know her dad was in hospital due to health issues in early November, after she appeared rather emotional during an episode of Strictly.
Dianne, who is currently competing on the BBC One show with Bobby Brazier, has now updated fans on her dad's condition, saying she is "so proud of him" but wishes she could be by his side to "support" him in person. "i’m so proud of you dad first round of chemotherapy today !
i wish i could be there to hold your hand and support you in person but i do know that i’m making you so proud over here in my concert every week !" Dianne shared.
She went on to joke that her dad has been talking about Strictly non-stop while in hospital, adding: "the Australian nurses and drs are now very aware of strictly come dancing as my dad won’t stop talking about it you can do this daddy xxx go mark @mark.3802 @rinabuswell".
