Aymeric Laporte has hailed his decision to switch allegiance from France to Spain as the 'best experience of his life'. The Spain international signed for Manchester City from Athletic Bilbao in 2018 and since then has gone on to make 142 appearances for the club, scoring an impressive 11 goals.
Laporte has managed to cement himself as a first-team regular at the Etihad this campaign making 31 appearances in all competitions.
But despite his good form in his early time at City, he failed to earn a call-up to the France national team, which led to the Basque native to switch his nationality to Spain.
