Anne Marie has spoken out to apologise for her performance on Saturday Night Takeaway over the weekend. The singer joined ITV show hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly for two performance on the family favourite.

But it was the 'End of the Show Show' that reportedly caused offence to viewers. Anne Marie performed her hit song Ciao Adios in a Japanese-themed routine alongside the Geordie duo.

Controversy was, however, caused when the performance appeared to incorporate the 'Rising Sun' Japanese flag on Ant and Dec's bandannas they were wearing.
