Amazon to create 150 new jobs with move into warehouse in Rochdale

Amazon Logistics will take over the enormous 20,000 square metre (215,278 sq. ft) warehouse on Kingsway Business Park, in Milnrow, with a new ‘delivery station’.

The company’s move into the borough will create 50 permanent jobs alongside more than one hundred driver opportunities through Amazon’s delivery partners. READ MORE: It’s expected that Amazon will be settled in by autumn.

It means that the company will serve shoppers in the Rochdale area from the Milnrow base in order to ‘help speed up deliveries for customers’, as the delivery station will ‘power the last mile of our order
