Amazon launches budget PCR tests for £34.99 for UK travellers with 24 hour results

Amazon has launched budget day two PCR tests for travellers arriving in the UK to rival more expensive options. The online retail giant has launched the tests which fulfil UK arrival entry Covid testing requirements along with at-home 'collection kits' for PCR tests.

Current Scottish travel rules require everybody aged 11 or over to take a day two PCR test after arriving in Scotland. Those aged 18 must self-isolate until their test results arrive.

Amazon is now also selling at-home PCR tests for £34.99 that is not suitable for UK arrival tests, but Amazon states they meet pre-departure testing requirements for "many countries" when travelling from the UK.Both test kits will be processed at Amazon's lab with results due back within 24
