Aldi selling full school uniform for £4 as it undercuts rival Lidl

Aldi and Lidl are once again battling it out to become the high street bargain champions of school uniform. With Lidl offering parents the chance to snap up a full uniform for £4.50, Aldi has gone one better, with a bundle for just £4.Lidl's version includes a twin pack of polo shirts for £1.75, trousers, shorts or skirt for £1.75 and a round neck sweatshirt for £1.Aldi's price cut brings its prices to just 50p for a round neck jumper, £1.75 for two polo shirts and £1.75 for trousers or a skirt.Lidl’s kit is available in stores from Thursday, August 6, while Aldi's is online from Sunday, August 9 and in stores from Thursday, August 13.Both chains are bracing themselves for a sell out as parents race to stock up on the bargains before.
