Albion Rovers boss unlikely to make major signing changes to 'inconsistent' side

Albion Rovers boss Sandy Clark admits his young side is “inconsistent” but they might struggle to make any major additions to remedy that in the coming weeks.Clark says while Rovers aren’t the best team in the Lowland League, they are decent when everybody’s fit, and is happy enough with what he has available.But he says unless something changes, financially, loans are Rovers’ best bet if they are to bring in fresh faces.The Lowland League transfer window closes in March and Clark said: “We’re always looking to try and improve the squad, but if you’re realistic, we’ve got a budget and we need to stick to that.“Unless that changes at some point there’s not a lot of scope to spend money.“But most teams in the league are the same.“That’s not to say there won’t be a wee bit of movement with loans and that kind of situation, but nothing drastic.“I would be happy with the squad.
