Forget sandwiches and scones, a restaurant in Manchester is offering a meat and carb heavy afternoon tea alternative specifically designed for people who hate the more traditional offering.

Brewski has even replaced the usual tea with gin, although still served in a teapot, in a nod to the original concept. Diners can expect to enjoy pizza loaded with flat iron steak and homemade burgers, breaded pickles, deep-fried jalapeños, pulled BBQ ribs, served with their signature poutine, buffalo sauce and chipotle mayo.

This is all piled up onto a three-tier stand, in order to resemble the meal it is named after, even if the offering is far removed from what most people consider afternoon tea.
