The Lib Dems said the latest figures meant 7,798 people were waiting over four hours in A&E wards, alongside a record 1,895 waiting more than eight hours and a record 551 waiting more than 12 hours.The NHS has struggled to meet demand as non-emergency services reopen following months of lockdowns and a spikes in coronavirus cases.Nicola Sturgeon announced last week that she was calling in the Army to help deal with the ambulance crisis as pressure mounts on the service.
