14 big lockdown changes coming into force next week in Scotland as countdown begins

restrictions since the country was plunged into a nationwide lockdown more than four months ago. Coronavirus rules, measures and restrictions have slowly been easing, with Nicola Sturgeon careful not to reopen the economy too quickly in a bid to suppress the deadly virus.

While small changes have already been lifted, Scots are looking forward to April 26 which will allow millions to regain some normality to every day life.It comes after a handful of changes were brought forward last week, including an earlier date for the easing of travel restrictions and outdoor socialising.

The First Minister is expected to lay out the important details of the upcoming easing of restrictions in her lockdown announcement on Tuesday, April 20.
