Young Scot battling bowel cancer raced from hospital bed to say goodbye to dying mum after brain tumour fight

cancer operation to say her goodbyes to her dying mum. Laila Hudson and her family were shattered after learning that Ros, 64, had an aggressive brain tumour - glioblastoma - which doctors found to be incurable.

The 28-year-old clinical support worker moved back to her home near Inverness from Glasgow to take care of her ailing mother but began to experience severe stomach pains.

She initially dismissed them as being stress related before doctors discovered a “humongous tumour” on her left ovary which was crushing her organs.

She had the mass removed the following morning at Raigmore Hospital along with her left ovary, fallopian tube and appendix, NottinghamshireLive reports.
