Young man died months after struggling with insomnia on holiday

insomnia on holiday. David Marsden, who has been described as a ‘kind-hearted, caring and beautiful’ 22-year-old, was pursuing a career as a medical lab assistant at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport.

However, after a holiday which he believed triggered an intense bout of insomnia, David's anxiety levels soared, an inquest into his death heard on Monday (July 12), Manchester Evening News reports.

The hearing on Monday was the first of a five-day-long inquest at Stockport Coroner's Court.He also struggled with depression, leaving him as an inpatient on a mental health ward in the hospital he worked at.On the ward, he received ‘treatment’ his mother claims was ‘dehumanising’.
