Yazmin Oukehllou has revealed she once considered taking her own life after falling victim to domestic abuse. Former The Only Way Is Essex star Yazmin, 27, opened up to fans as she announced the launch of her wellness retreat in the UK, following the success of her retreat in Marrakech, Morocco, in the hopes it will help women in similar situations she found herself in.

Yazmin got candid with fans in a video shared on her Instagram page and explained how she hoped the retreat would help women suffering from domestic abuse as it was a "subject that's really close to my heart".

She explains in the clip: "At the time when your family and friends don't understand it and you want a way out when people are like: 'Why do you keep going back to this person' and all you can do is look it up through YouTube videos.

"It's something I couldn't find myself.
