Worried Scots walker who spotted dogs locked in hot car forced to call police and SSPCA

police and the SSPCA after spotting two dogs locked inside a car on one of the hottest days of the year. The woman, who asked to remain anonymous after the dogs' owner allegedly became aggressive towards her, said she was worried the poor pets might die.

She was out a walk around 11am on Wednesday when she spotted two dogs inside the boot of a car at Boden Boo Woods in Erskine.After waiting for over 40 minutes for someone to come back to the car, the woman was forced to call police and the SSPCA.

She told the Record: "There is no need for dogs to be left in the car that long. I had gone out a walk with my dog to the woods as it is shaded there and I could hear dogs barking."I saw the dogs strapped into the boot and clipped in.
