Worried residents beg Scots council to evict man with links to murder of T2 Trainspotting star

Residents who live near George “Dode” Baigrie’s home have started an online petition begging the local council to evict him for anti-social behaviour.

The move comes just days after police descended on the Midlothian address where he lives and carried out extensive searches at the property.

The petition has been set up on a secret group on social media which details incidents in the Dalkeith housing estate where 38-year-old Baigrie lives.

The group, which is said to have dozens of members, has catalogued several anti-social incidents including noise complaints and fears for other residents safety.It’s understood residents have contacted Midlothian council for advice and were encouraged to log incidents and report them to build a case
