Ann-Marie Chesters, known as Annie, died after being struck by a lorry in Cheshire on January 14, 2020, Cheshire Live reports.

The 37-year-old was hit by a large goods vehicle driven by Robert Wild, that was travelling along the Haslington Bypass. Miss Chesters had been walking home from a night out in Crewe, around six miles away, after missing her bus when the crash took place at around 1.40am.

Tragically, Miss Chesters died from her injuries at Royal Stoke University Hospital on January 15, 2020. At an inquest held in Warrington on Thursday
