Woman charged with allegedly driving whilst disqualified in Manchester city centre

in Manchester city centre.Simara Knopka, 39,  of Earlsway, Macclesfield has been charged with disqualified driving and driving without insurance.Yesterday, (Thursday) Knopka appeared at Manchester Crown Court where she was sentenced after driving the wrong way down the M60 and hitting another car head on in May this year.She pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle dangerously and driving a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence.

Ms Knopka was sentenced to a four-month curfew as well as being disqualified from driving for two years.However following the hearing she appeared to be at the wheel of a car that pulled out of a car park near the court building.Knopka was subsequently arrested and has been remanded into police.
