Woman, 75, fighting for life after being hit by Mercedes

A 75-year-old woman has been left in a 'critical condition' after being hit by a Mercedes near the bus station in Ashton-under-Lyne.

Police were called to Albion Way at around 2.10pm today (Saturday, December 18). The pedestrian has now been taken to hospital with a head injury where she 'remains in a critical condition', a spokesperson from Greater Manchester Police said.
