Wishaw feud man cleared of attempted knife assault charge is fined for threatening behaviour

dailyrecord.co.ukGet the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.A feud resulted in a Wishaw man ending up in the dock at Hamilton Sheriff Court.Keith Milligan battered a door with a stick and demanded to see Gary Murray.But he was cleared of trying to stab Mr Murray on a later occasion.Milligan, 40, of Northmuir Drive, admitted threatening or abusive behaviour in Sidlaw Drive, Wishaw, on February 26 last year.Chloe O’Hara, prosecuting, said he was spotted hitting a door.She told the court: “A man in his back garden asked him what he wanted and the accused replied ‘Gary’.“He was told he was at the wrong door then went to another house and struck that door with a wooden stick.“A female there heard banging and opened.
