Keyworker parents involved in the frontline defence against coronavirus can send their children to 15 primary schools and nurseries from tomorrow.East Ayrshire schools closed to the majority of children on Friday.But some essential workers can still send their kids in.
Depute council leader Elena Whitham said: “We need to conserve the service for essential workers. It is a huge imperative that we get people to stay at home.“Employers are coming on board with McDonalds and Costa among those closing.”There will be no transport available to the schools but meals will be provided.
