With parts of the UK set to scorch in the coming days, pet owners are being advised to take extra care of their four legged friends as the temperatures increase.
Although many of us welcome the heat, our beloved pets may not be so keen, especially not with temperatures in some parts of the country expected to reach 30 degrees on Friday.
While the sunshine could seem like the perfect weather to take your dog for a walk, experts have warned that it’s important to be aware of how sensitive our canine companions are to the heat and to recognise the signs and symptoms that may indicate they are unwell.
So how hot is too hot to walk your dog? According to Vets Now, it’s usually safe to walk your dog in temperatures below 19 degrees.
