Speaking on Annie Macmanus’ ‘Changes’ podcast, Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt revealed how she was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy after being involved in a car accident when she was 11.

After riding her bike, Scarlett was struck by a vehicle and shattered her front teeth but away from the immediate physical effects, she explained that the accident had a much longer impact. “I was talking away to myself in my bedroom and my mouth drooped to one side,” she explained. “I remember standing in front of the mirror literally screaming at myself, trying to get my face symmetrical and that’s when we found out that I had Bell’s palsy.

However, despite treatment, she admitted that her face is no longer symmetrical and joked that she has an “Elvis eyebrow”.
