Kurt Zouma has avoided jail and received a sentence of 180 hours of unpaid work as well as a five year ban from owning cats after pleading guilty to slapping and kicking his pet.
The West Ham defender, dressed in a black suit and white shirt, was met with a man wearing a cat costume as he arrived at Thames Magistrates Court.
