Brad Singleton believes Wigan can use the humiliation surrounding their first defeat of the Super League season as motivation for the remainder of 2021.
The Warriors were beaten 48-0 by Catalans last Saturday, in a game which saw fullback Zak Hardaker also sent off for a head-butt on former Warriors player Sam Tomkins.
Prior to that, Wigan had won all of their opening league games, but Singleton believes the Warriors must use the defeat as a seminal moment in their season. "We're hurting by it, but I don't think it's a bad thing to be hurting," he said. "It definitely wasn't the standard we wanted to set, going over there and getting beat like that.
