A video shows the three people defying the lockdown guidelines to tear up a school field on off-road bikes. While millions in Greater Manchester stayed home to protect the NHS, a number of people still flouted the advice over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

Footage filmed from Raveden Wood, near Smithills School, at around 6.30pm on Sunday, shows three bikers riding around the school fields.

Posting the video on the Astley Bridge and Sharples Notice Board, a local resident wrote: "Three lads on scrambler bikes tearing up Smithills School fields not caring some people with dogs there.

Absolute idiots." Another resident in the comments complained that three people had been spotted riding close to nearby Carisbrooke Drive a few days
