Manchester United are looking for a new manager, with Erik ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino the front runners, but once they have decided on who will be in the dugout for next season, the club will move to address a number of issues in the transfer market.
And there are a lot of positions that need to be addressed. The Athletic are reporting that United will look to sign two midfielders in the summer alongside a right-winger and a striker.
The report also states that Jorge Mendes has reportedly approached Tottenham Hotspur about potential replacements for Harry Kane, as the striker has emerged as a potential target for the Manchester club.
At 28, Kane is one of the top players in his position, but a lack of trophies have been a blot on his copybook for some time and most likely influenced his desire to go to Manchester City last summer — which Spurs blocked.
