Just after the UK marked 100 days until Christmas 2021, it's been revealed that one of the UK's biggest delivery firms could be facing strike action - which would affect shoppers purchasing items from Aldi, M&S or Argos.

If it goes ahead, the strikes could affect deliveries for Marks & Spencer, Aldi and Very from Yodel's depots in Hatfield in Hertforshire, Glasgow and Wednesbury in the West Midlands, the Mirror reports.

The GMB union said workers voted to strike in a dispute over pay and conditions. The union accused the firm of “dragging its heels” over offering a pay rise and of trying to impose
