Users of 43 models of Apple and Android phones will no longer be able to use WhatsApp from the start of November. It could prevent millions of people staying in touch with friends and loved ones on the app.
From November 1, 43 smartphone models will lose the ability to send messages and pictures, or make video calls, using the encrypted messaging service.
