Tame Impala have returned to full-band live shows for the first time in 2021, kicking off their rescheduled ‘Rushium’ tour at the United Center in Chicago on Tuesday (September 7).The performance was the first to feature all five members of the Tame Impala touring band since March 2020, where the band’s North American tour was ultimately cut short on account of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The band performed songs from all four of their albums, including ‘InnerSpeaker”s ‘Runway, Houses, City, Clouds’ – which the band had not played live since 2013.Also on the setlist was a cover of Travis Scott‘s ‘Skeletons’, which was produced by Tame Impala bandleader Kevin Parker.
