Virgin Media insist access to internet is not down as hundreds of Scots report issues with service

internet with their broadband services - despite a number of Scots reporting problems this morning.Thousands of users across the UK have reported issues with the firm’s internet services on the website Down Detector throughout the morning.A total of 61 per cent of people experienced problems with the cable internet, 24 per cent had issues with email services and a 14 per cent of the reports were in regards to Virgin Media’s mobile internet.Reports of technical issues peaked at around 9am this morning, with more than 690 users sharing their frustrations on Down Detector.Scots users in Glasgow and Edinburgh claim that their areas are the worst impacted.But the firm has said that the only problem is access to the 'My Virgin Media' portal -.
