Viewers praise ‘brilliant’ Rachel Allen after her first day as Today co-host

Rachel Allen delighted viewers when she stepped in present Today alongside Dáithí Ó Sé. She is one of three new presenters filling Sinead Kennedy’s shoes this month while she’s on maternity leave.

The chef made her presenting debut alongside a delighted Dáithí who made her feel right at home with his Kerry charm and she was all smiles as she hosted the show.

She shared a snap of herself with the Rose of Tralee presenter ahead of the show going live on her Instagram. ‘@daithiose & I are ready to go! @rtetoday Tune in at 3.30, see you here!’ she told her 41.9k followers Instagram followers.
