Verizon became the biggest company yet to join the growing #StopHateForProfit campaign, with the telecoms giant pledging on Thursday to pull its ads from Facebook and its subsidiary Instagram until the social media platforms "can create an acceptable solution that makes us comfortable." CNBC reportedthat Verizon was suspending its Facebook ads. "We have strict content policies in place and have zero tolerance when they are breached, we take action," Verizon’s chief media officer John Nitti told CNBC in a statement.
