dailyrecord.co.ukCars powered by electric fuels produce as much pollutants as fossil fuel -run vehicles, an investigation suggests. The research, commissioned by the clean mobility NGS Transport & Environment, analysed the emissions released from different fuels.
The investigation tested engines running on various fuels in order to determine the harmful gases produced, reports The Express.Shockingly, findings revealed that the newer, 'greener' fuel alternatives let off just as much harmful nitrogen oxides into the atmosphere as previously used fossil fuels.E-fuels are chemically similar to petrol and diesel but are costly to produce.
