Vanessa Bryant Awarded $16 Million Over Kobe Bryant Crash Photos
justjared.comA verdict has been reached for Vanessa Bryant‘s case against Los Angeles County. The 40-year-old wife of the late Kobe Bryant, and her co-plaintiff, were awarded $31 million in damages after emergency personnel allegedly shared with unauthorized people graphic images from the crash scene which claimed Kobe, their second daughter, Gianna, and many other lives. Click inside to read more… According to Deadline, a judge ordered the county to pay out $16 million to the Bryant family and $15 million to Chris Chester, whose wife Sarah and 13-year-old daughter Payton also died.
The outlet adds that “jurors reached their verdict after roughly four and a half hours of deliberations.” Earlier in the week, Vanessa gave a testimony about learning that the EMTs took and distributed the photos and how she “broke down”.
