UK weather to hit 25C over bank holiday due to 'Spanish Plume'

The UK hasn't done too badly on the weather front for a while, which is pretty typical when we all have to stay in doors. But there's always the opportunity to bask in the spring sun out in your garden or during you're daily exercise jaunt.

The temperature is set to his 25C over the upcoming bank holiday weekend which was moved due to the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

However, it may not be as great as first though as a 'Spanish Plume' could bring thunderstorms to the UK. The Met Office says that heavy showers in parts of Wales and Northern Ireland as well as western and central England - and the possibility of thunder - are expected meaning the scorching weather could be shortlived as temperatures plummet.
