The accident, involving a car and a motorcycle, happened on New Road at the junction with Stand Lane and Radcliffe New Road at around 9pm.Police, two ambulances, two rapid response vehicles and a land vehicle from the air ambulance were all sent to the scene.Two patients were taken to hospital with major trauma injuries, a spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said.In a statement, NWAS said: “We were called at 21.15 last night to reports of a collision involving a car and a motorcycle.“We attended with two ambulances, a land resource from the air ambulance and two rapid response vehicles.“Two patients were taken to hospital both with major trauma injuries.” Speaking to the Manchester Evening News , a witness.
