From July 4, churches will be allowed to welcome its congregation back after more than three months.Places of worship were forced to close when the UK went into lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.But in the latest, and biggest, easing of the restrictions in England, many venues have been given the go ahead to reopen providing they can do so in a Covid-secure way.To reopen in a safe and practicable way, a Places of Worship Taskforce was set up by the government who worked with faith leaders and representatives to develop new guidance.The new rules include staggered entry times to sing screens and no shared items.First, gatherings of 30 people maximum will be allowed in places of worship and their surrounding premises for 'life cycle.
