A further two cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the UK. This takes the current total up to 53. Two more people in Scotland have been diagnosed with the virus - also known as COVID-19.
The news was confirmed by Scottish Health Secretary Jeane Freeman who said the patients tested positive overnight. Speaking to BBC Radio Scotland's Good Morning Scotland programme she said: "We now have three cases in Scotland."
