Two masked thugs leave man with serious injuries after brutal attack in Musselburgh

A man has been serious injured after being attacked by two masked thugs in Musselburgh. The 24-year-old was left with serious but not life threatening injuries after the pair jumped out a van and attacked the man.

The incident happened at around 5.40pm on Stoneyhill Farm Road when the two men exited a white long wheel base Ford Transit van.

The victim, who was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, was left with serious but not life threatening injuries. Police are now investigating the attack which they believe was targeted.
